Excitement is building as the Bearcat footballers begin an extensive off-season program with the goal of becoming bigger, stronger, and faster before the 2015 season begins. The first phase of the program emphasizes the bigger and stronger aspects which means a rigorous weightlifting program four days a week and one day of running and/or agility drills. Two days a week will feature upper body lifting and two days of lower body work. The weightlifting phase of the program will continue through January and then branch out into additional areas of concentration leading up to Spring Training in May. Coach Lee Hart, the powerlifting coach, coordinates the weight training part of off-season and is dedicated to the task of making the Bearcats the best they can possibly be. Go Bearcats!
