New Bearcat Booster Club Project

Sherman High School would like to thank the Bearcat Athletic Booster Club for another outstanding gift.  The club recently purchased the trailer pictured that can be pulled behind a suburban and used for a number of purposes.  One need the school had was to transport the blow-up tunnel and Bearcat head that the team runs

Bearcat VB Open District With McKinney North

Dallas Aleman had 10 assists for Sherman but McKinney North defeated the Lady Bearcats 25-14, 25-14, 25-17in the District 10-5A opener on Friday.  Rylie Bernard added five kills, Paige Aleman collected 16 digs and Lourden Bell chipped in nine digs for Sherman (11-14, 0-1) which will host McKinney on Tuesday.

Bearcat JV Football loses to Prestonwood Academy

This past Thursday, the Sherman JV football team lost to Prestonwood Academy 42-19 in a mistake filled game.  Tre Holtzclaw scored on a 1-yd run and Carlos Monterroza tied the game with his PAT at 7-7.  Cody Hunter’s 65 yd. touchdown was called back that would have put the Cats down by only one score. 

Piner Wildcats In A Big Win

The Piner Wildcats 8th Grade A-Team played a great game Wednesday night at Highlander Stadium and defeated Highland Park by a 38-36 score.  The first touchdown was scored on a long pass from Luke Langford to Darrion Shefield.  Other players who scored for the Cats were Luke Langford, Xylohn Posey, and Anthony Futrell.  Outstanding players
