2018 Softball – Parent Meeting

Lady Cats Drop One to McKinney

The Sherman Lady Bearcats lost, 4-1, to the McKinney Lions Friday at Old Settler’s Park. Olivia Fair’s solo homer was the only SHS score. Miranda Lleverino and Jill Dixon had the only other hits while Jayla Goodman and Hailey Arndt walked. The Lady Cats play at Denison Monday night.

Softball Lady Cats beat Prosper

The Lady Bearcats beat Prosper, 8-3, Friday night at Old Settler’s Park to raise their record to 12-11, 2-6. Miranda Lleverino went 4-4 with two doubles and scored three times. Lady Bearcats Breakthrough

The Lady Cats beat rival Denison, 10-0, for their first district win since 2014 on Monday night. Jessica Bridges earned the win with a two hit shutout over just five innings. The Sherman Bearcats lost a heartbreaker, 1-0, on a walk-off homerun by the Wylie Pirates Tuesday. It happened in the bottom of the seventh and last inning; Wylie is undefeated 16-0, 3-0. The Sherman Lady Bearcat Softball Team won, 5-4, against Valley View in the Whitesboro Tournament this weekend, but lost in the semi-finals to Tom Bean, 10-0.
