Sherman ISD Middle School Girls Basketball Camp

Starting on June 4th through the 6th, the Sherman High School girls basketball coaching staff will be holding a three day basketball skills camp for all incoming 6th through 9th graders.  The cost of the camp is thirty five dollars and will take place in the competition gym at Sherman High School.  Registration forms can be picked

Lady Bearcats beat Wichita Falls for Second District Win

The Lady Bearcats beat the Wichita Falls Lady Coyotes 46-39 on Tuesday night bringing their overall record to 11-14 and their district record to 2-3.  Kristen Gittens led all scorers with fifteen points.  Gittens also added three assists and a steal.  Jahmaria Tavie added fourteen points, fifteen rebounds, and three blocks.  The Lady Bearcats are currently tied


District play is right around the corner for the Lady Bearcats as they will play their final non-district game against Frisco Centennial at home on Tuesday, December 6th.  The Lady Bearcats current record stands at 5-9 and are only four wins away from matching last years total.  The first district game will be away against

Basketball for SHS Feb. 11 The Lady Bearcats lost their final game of the season, 53-29, to Wylie East Tuesday. Kristen Gittens scored 12 points while Te-Aira McShan added six points. The Lady Cats Basketball Team lost its final home game of the season to McKinney North, 82-27, Friday. Kristen Gittens scored 11 points for Sherman, which rounds out the season Tuesday against Wylie East.    

Lady Cats Lose Tough Game

The Lady Bearcats lost a close one to archrival Denison, 31-36, in basketball action Friday night. Jahmaria Tavie scored 19 points and had 12 rebounds for the 9-18, 2-9 Lady Cats. Kristen Givens added five points to Sherman’s total.  Bre’Shaun Luper also had a three pointer for the team.
